Cute motel in a good location. The parking was easy to access. The room was clean, and nice big bathroom. I stayed here with my kids, and we didn't have any issues. I've stayed in a LOT of hotels/motels. I think it's a great value for a quick stay. I've read some of the reviews, and honestly I don't know what people expect for a $200 a night hotel in LA. It's not the Westin...get over it.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They brought me a hair dryer in less than 5 minutes. The shower came down from the ceiling which was hreat necause i'm tall and it had great water pressure. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Good for several days stay. We spent 3D2N and my kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast offers VERYLIMITED options such as coffee, cereals and breads. Hope they could add more like scrambled eggs etc. I'd like to commend the house cleaning staff as they keep our room tidy and our belongings are safe. Overall, its a pleasant stay for solo and or with family. Definitely recommended thus place.

Really good deal. My only complaint is that rooms open to the outside, had I known I probably would have skipped it at the time but no issues. Honestly the rooms were a lot nicer than some of the other 3-4 star hotels in Glendale. I've stayed at quite a few for work and visiting friends from work as my company is located near by. Furniture is nice my room was very clean (there's always going to be mistakes and misses in the hospitality industry. The room didn't smell bad, there's lots of lighting for controlling the level of brightness preferred, plenty of outlets) the bathroom is a barn door style that seems to be increasingly common (my hotel in NYC was the same and that was a 3.5 star) bathroom was a pretty good size with a nice walk in shower. I even looked hard for evidence of bedbugs as other reviews stated. Found nothing, no pests of any kind (not even spiders lol. Which is the most ridiculous thing I've seen held against a hotel. Unless it's an infestation, get real). Amenities are pretty basic, just the standard pool, limited continental breakfast. But to be expected for the price. The thing is for how great the price is, you have to realize there's going to be tradeoffs. As long as the rooms are clean and maintained I'm happy and frankly they are a much better quality than i expected. Ive most definitely paid more for less from higher rated chains.

During the Los Angeles/Glendale fire emergency, my stay in a single room at Hotel Xilo was exceptional, thanks to Manager Cathy and her outstanding team. The room was well-appointed, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Although the hotel usually has a no-pet policy, an exception was made due to the fire emergency and the dislocation experienced in our nearby canyon. My girls, Tullia and Clementine, needed safety and tranquility, and Hotel Xilo provided just that. Conveniently located, the hotel is close to restaurants, banks, and supermarkets, adding ease to an already stressful time. Highly recommended!

I was in town for a funeral and needed a close hotel to avoid morning traffic...this hotel exceeded my expectations! I arrived tired from travel, etc. Was welcomed by a friendly, efficient, and informative front desk member. Shower had a typical shower head AND a waterfall (from the ceiling shower head like rain) very hot amazing relaxing water and the bed was extremely comfortable. Honestly more comfortable than some recent very high end hotel beds. Likely the reason I missed breakfast haha but breakfast smelled good when I was checking out. : ) Room was clean, smelled fresh, had a fridge and microwave-perfect for my leftovers. Inexpensive parking centrally located and close to front desk for security. Pool area and gym were nice despite smaller hotel-next time I'll take advantage. No elevators, but they have first and second floor rooms and multiple stairs for ease of access. Rooms open up directly to outside and overlooking parking and pool -I found this super convenient to avoid walking all over hotel to get to car, ice, breakfast,etc like some hotels. Honestly I wish this hotel was in all the cities I travel to. I will return
